The Edmonton Police
Service Major Collision Investigation Section (MCIS) is investigating a
hit-and-run collision between a car and a motorcycle that sent the motorcyclist
to hospital.
On Friday, Jun. 16, 2023, at 12:12 p.m., a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Calgary Trail when a red or orange car left the stop sign and travelled westbound across Calgary Trail on University Avenue, striking the motorcycle. The rider was thrown from the bike and sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are seeking witnesses and any information about the car and its driver, who failed to remain at the scene.
