Homicide detectives have arrested and charged a 23-year-old Edmonton man with the May 30, 2013 death of Curtis Dugray.
Police found the 51-year-old victim just before 10 p.m. on May 30, unconscious in a park in the area of 99 Avenue and 111 Street. EMS also responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office has since confirmed the cause of death as a result of blunt and sharp force trauma.
Melvin Simon John Mitchell is charged with second degree murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
