Police responded to a report of a male being shot in an apartment suite in the area of 89 Avenue and 149 Street at approximately 4:18 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014. EPS officers discovered a deceased adult male who appeared to in his 30s. EMS paramedics attempted to resuscitate the male but were unsuccessful. An autopsy for the man is expected to take place early next week.
Police are in the initial stages of the investigation and are currently interviewing witnesses from the apartment building to determine what happened. There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
