On Sunday, Apr. 27, 2014 between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. a violent incident allegedly occurred in a residence in the area of 165 Street and 83 Avenue where an altercation took place between a man and a woman who are known to each other.
Jason Robert Way, 38, is wanted on warrants for housebreaking, mischief under $5000 (x 2), intimidation, theft of motor vehicle, theft under $5000, assault with weapon and breach of recognizance.
Way is described as a Caucasian male, with a medium build. He is 5’9” tall, weighs about 170 lbs, has brown eyes and light brown hair. He may be wearing glasses.
Way is believed to be driving a stolen 2003 Ford F150, light brown in colour with the Alberta license plate BKW0823.
The Edmonton Police Service has been in contact with the RCMP as they believe Way may be driving to Fort McMurray.
Way is believed to be violent and dangerous. The public should not approach Way. Call police immediately.
