The Edmonton Police Service Major Collision Investigation Section (MCIS) is investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision involving a 21-year-old male that occurred earlier this morning.
On Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at approximately 8:45 a.m., a 2012 Ford Fusion being driven by a 21-year-old male, was travelling southbound on the Anthony Henday and south of the 153 Avenue exit, when it left the road and collided with the concrete base of a pole at highway speed.
The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. Members of the EPS Major Collision Investigation Section are on scene and are now leading the investigation.
