All media are invited to help kick-off Edmonton’s Free the Fuzz fundraiser for Special Olympics, which runs from Aug. 22 – 24 at the South Edmonton Common Walmart.
Rain or shine five law enforcement officers will make their home on the rooftop for the weekend.
There’s a lot going on down below, too. Special Olympic athletes, law enforcement officers, and volunteers will canvass for funds to ‘free the fuzz’. Canine Unit, specialized police vehicles, a bouncy castle, and a BBQ are just some of the fun activities.
