Charges have been laid in a collision which occurred on May 16, 2013. All four occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries during the collision which took place in the area of 102 Avenue and 127 Street.
A 16-year-old female passenger sustained life-threatening injuries in the collision and remains in hospital.
The male driver of the 2006 black Volvo was found to have nearly twice the blood alcohol level limit.
The Edmonton Police Service Major Collision Investigative Unit led the investigation. Police believe alcohol, drugs and speed were factors in the collision.
Kelton Rossi, 19, has been charged with impaired operation causing bodily harm (x3) and impaired operation over 80 mg causing bodily harm (x3).
