Ashton Natomagan, 33-years-old, was arrested in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan by the Prince Albert Police Service. Natomagan was wanted on Canada-wide warrants in connection with an alleged sexual assault and personal robbery that occurred in Edmonton on Apr. 11, 2015.
It was reported to police that a woman was assaulted by the suspect while jogging west on 116 Avenue and 102 Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Apr. 11, 2015.
Natomagan was transported to Edmonton on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015.
He faces nine charges: unlawfully at large,robbery, assault with a weapon, choking with intent to overcome resistance, kidnapping (confine), unlawful confinement, sexual assault with threats to cause bodily harm, possess offensive weapon dangerous to public and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
