On July 23, 2013, two separate incidents were reported to police where a man allegedly sexually assaulted a woman as he walked by them in an area between 109 and 116 Streets and 102 Avenue.
On July 25, 2013, another two separate incidents were reported, where a man walked by women and allegedly sexually assaulted them in the area of 115 Street and 102 Avenue, as well as 109 Street and 104 Avenue.
Liam Martin, 20, is charged with sexual assault (x4).
“It’s important to report any incidents of sexual assault,” says Acting Detective Kelly Fradley, with Downtown Division. “Some complainants might feel embarrassed or think what happened to them isn’t significant; but police take this very seriously. Even if someone touches or grabs you inappropriately, that is considered sexual assault and it should be reported to police.”
